Easter this year was very relaxing. For Covid reasons, we just spent the whole day at home, with our little family. I made the kids dress up for the Easter egg hunt. Ewin was less than happy to do it. He is very opposed to wearing shirts with buttons, but we finally convinced him. The boys are expert egg finders! This was Evie's first year that she understood what to do and she was so cute! She loves collecting things, especially in baskets, so this was right up her alley. We made homemade chocolate eggs, but this year I added caramel and Rice Krispie chocolate eggs and they were so good! We spent the day with each other, chowing down on candy, dyed eggs, and steak for dinner. We've been talking about the days building up to the resurrection all week, talking about the event that coincided on each of those days. On Sunday, it was a sweet moment to talk with the boys about the resurrection and to see them feel the joy of those blessings.
